Zhang Monan is Deputy Head of the Institute of American and European Studies at the China Center for International Economic Exchanges. She is an expert in global macroeconomic analysis, digital economy, and global trade rules, having led projects for organizations including the National Social Science Foundation, United Nations, and World Bank. Dr. Zhang serves as an expert for the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce, and the Central Cyberspace Administration. She has provided strategic, decision-making support to China’s Central Government such as the State Council.
